LEMONT, Ill. — Authorities are investigating the death of a 53-year-old man from La Grange Park who was found deceased Monday at a forest preserve in Lemont.
The Will County Coroner’s Office identified the man as Brian Mangano. Officials said he was pronounced dead at approximately 12:29 p.m. at a forest preserve located in the 17000 block of North Bluff Road.
Authorities have not yet determined the cause or manner of death. The coroner’s office indicated that further information will be released pending the results of an autopsy, along with additional findings from police and toxicology reports.
The incident remains under investigation by the Will County Forest Preserve Police, who are working to establish the circumstances surrounding Mangano’s death. Officials have not said whether foul play is suspected and are asking the public to allow time for a thorough investigation.
